Housekeeping Notes-and-Things

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't wanna hear it.

Anyways, hopefully I'll be more active in the coming days/weeks/months. Won't promise nothing (all right), but call it a goal. Or something like that.

Anyways, we were covering way, way, way too many teams, initially. So, we're going to change this things up.

The plans have changed, and no longer will I be covering: Sun Belt, Big West and MAAC. There's 31 teams gone from the way-too-large list. Those were fairly obvious cuts, all of them fairly big conferences, with some really good teams as well (Western Kentucky and Siena, most notably).

In the less-obvious category, I'm taking out the other two members of KenPom's Top 20 Conferences. So, bye-bye to the Summit League and the Southland Conference (which surprised me with how high up they were). Another 22 teams gone, taking it all the way down to 123 teams (yay!).

It makes me sad, because I really want to cover all of those teams. And really, I keep on going back and forth. Part of me just wants to change everything up and cover all of the conferences initially planned. And then part of me wants to just focus on the lowest of the low, like picking the 3 worst conferences, or something.

We'll see how it goes.
